CZ Top Computers was founded by Cody Zumbach in 2002, originally calling the business Zumbach Customs. He and his brother Jeremy repaired and built computers.

And sold a little livestock. (The photo below was on a former web-site.)
No one has ever been able to say that CZ ("They call me Mister Top.") isn't willing to juggle more than one thing.

He opened his first store, under the current name, in Monticello in 2006. Located at 319 East 1st Street, the business rapidly outgrew the space.

In 2007, CZ Top moved up to 225 East 1st; here began our Friday night gaming parties. Local kids could play video games live with over a dozen other players.

Once again, the business outgrew the available space.

In 2008, Cody bought the Carnegie Building, Monticello's former library, and committed himself to its renovation. We moved in over Memorial Day weekend of 2009, after a year's work on the building. Today, we have space for gaming parties, classes, repairs and merchandise. Slowly, as you pay for it with your business, we continue to improve the Carnegie.

But look out! CZ's looking around for something else to add to the mix.
